Terralink Chooses ATAPY as Subcontractor to Develop an OCR/ICR Processing Module for DMAC
Novosibirsk, Russia, May 14, 2003 — ATAPY Software, a premier provider of custom OCR programming solutions in Russia, has signed a contract with Terralink, USA, for development of an OCR/ICR module for Data Management Assistance Corporation (DMAC).
The goal of the project is to enrich Unibase, DMAC's universal data and image entry solution for media service bureaux, with a powerful and intelligent data capture module. Terralink turned to ATAPY Software whose proficiency in this domain is proven by an impressive track record. As a contract development arm of ABBYY Software House, a world leader in document capture and computer linguistics, ATAPY possesses solid background in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) technologies. The OCR/ICR module provided by ATAPY Software is natively integrated into Unibase, and is expected to noticeably increase data processing capabilities and usability of the DMAC product.
