Novosibirsk, Russia / Antwerpen, Belgium. April 12, 2007 — Axzam N. V. is releasing its IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) system. This solution combines world-class ABBYY OCR technology for purchase invoice capture, support for any type of business documents, approval matrix, business logic support, and powerful document processing capabilities and know-how.
ATAPY Software played a key role in the development of Axzam IDP having provided not only all coding but also capture-related design advice drawn from its multi-year experience in electronic document management.
Axzam Intelligent Document Processing system is a client-server solution for processing different business documents via various workflow types. Axzam system is intended for working with documents of complex structure (invoices, credit notes, expense notes, timesheets, resumes, etc.) that require special processing accuracy. The system covers whole document lifecycle: from scanning paper documents and recognizing data up to final approval of the document and its export into external format. The key feature of the system is flexibility of all processing steps: the user can create an individual document structure for each document type; each document can be processed according to its own rules (several users could check and approve the document simultaneously or one by one, additional information from outside person can be requested, documents could be sent to several users for informative purpose, et cetera); customizable export into several formats is available. Axzam system supports advanced document permission checks based on company, supplier, account number, amount values, and other document data. For processing semi-structured forms, the system uses ABBYY FlexiCapture technology. The user can script the system’s behavior using C#.
The product’s architecture makes the product unique, easy to use and maintain, and has a high cost-efficiency rate for companies of any size or industry.
